SOUDAL POLYSET, 250GR

Soudal's polyset is a completely ready-to-use set for major repairs to metal, wood and polyester surfaces. Thanks to the included glass fiber mat it is possible to repair or completely replace damaged parts. Repairing small holes or strengthening rusted parts will go a lot smoother with the help of this set. The polyester resin has a fast cure and becomes rock hard but is still easy to work with.

The kit contains:

- Fiberglass mat

- Mixing cup

- Brush + ironing plate

Pre-accelerated polyester resin 250gr + 50gr hardener



Resistant to:

- Temperatures from -30°C to + 120°C

- Acids

- Petrol

- Antifreeze

- Seawater

- Vibrations and shocks



Instructions for use:

◘ Sand the surface and make it dust free

◘ Cut fiberglass mat to the desired size (overlapping at the edges by 3cm)

◘ Pour a small amount of polyester into the mixing cup and mix it with 2 to 3% hardener

◘ Mix well to obtain an even liquid

◘ Coat the surface with the polyester fluid

◘ Apply fiberglass mat and press firmly + rub with polyester fluid

◘ Hardened after 30 minutes

◘ Ready to sand



Tip: To obtain an invisible repair, it is recommended to apply Soudal Metal platic putty above the polyester.
