SAMLEX BATTERY SEPARATOR BS400 12/24V

Diode bridge of 100Amp, both on 12 and 24V. This charges the 2nd battery when the first main battery is fully charged. The battery separator is controlled by a microprocessor, heavy-duty relay that automatically connects the batteries in parallel. When one of the batteries has reached the voltage of 13.2V/26.4V for 5 seconds indicating that the battery is being charged. The connection is disconnected when the voltage drops below the level 12.8V/ 25.6V for 5 seconds indicating that one or more batteries are being discharged. The main feature is that there is virtually no voltage loss, so the output voltage of alternators or battery chargers does not need to be increased. Another advantage is that the battery separator can be mounted without changing the existing circuit. This not only makes the battery separator very easy to install, but it is sometimes the only option, because some alternators do not accept a battery isolator between them and the battery.
