Use right valve for right application
Rubber tubeless valves must withstand a tire pressure of up to 4.5 bar. Sinatec Unimotive valves have been tested for this and more than meet this requirement. However, before fitting a valve in a rim, it is advisable to think about the vehicle's application. Heavily loaded vehicles such as vans and trailers already have relatively high tire pressures as standard. By loading and driving, the pressure in the tire can rise significantly, the valve will leak and the tire will deflate.
Sinatec recommends the use of steel valves for these types of vehicles, and applies the rule, anything above the 6-ply tire should be fitted with a high pressure valve. Steel Unimotive valves are guaranteed up to a pressure of 6.9 bar. Steel valves can be fitted to all rims and give the wheel a nice optical appearance. Unimotive steel valves are available in the colors aluminum and black.
Sinatec supplies rubber tubeless valves with a length of 33, 43, 49 or 61 millimeters. Always use the valve with the length recommended by the car or rim manufacturer. As the wheel rotates, the valve is subject to centrifugal forces. The longer the valve, the greater the force, which can be up to one kilogram. The more force on the valve, the greater the risk of leakage and a deflated tire.
