Features

Xtreme Silicone Black is a high quality, acetic acid curing silicone seal, which is resistant to weather, vibration, humidity and high temperatures. Xtreme Silicone Black is vulcanized after 24 hours and then loadable, maintaining elasticity and strong adhesion. Excellent application on glass, aluminum and metal. Universally applicable for water pumps, valve covers, oil reservoirs, thermostat housings, transmission boxes, gearboxes etc. Especially for joints subject to high temperatures. Resistant to acids and alkalis. Store in tightly closed original container in a cool and dry place between +5°C and +25°C. Can be stored for 24 months after date of manufacture in a cool and dry place. Caution: do not apply in case of continuous contact with petrol.


Directions for use: clean and degrease the surface thoroughly. In case of repeated use of the can, before screwing on the dosing tip, lubricate an anaerobic sealant on the thread of the dosing tip to prevent air entry. Now allow a skin to form on the applied material (approx. 10 min). Allow a little material to come out of the dispensing tip and pull it away with the next use.





WARNING

Container is under pressure: May crack when heated. Keep away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces. Do not smoke. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C. Keep out of reach of children. MSDS available on request.
