An air compressor is a machine that draws in outside air and converts it into compressed air, expressed in bar. A compressor combined with pneumatic air tools is suitable for all kinds of jobs such as inflating tyres, loosening bolts and spraying paint. When buying a compressor, it is very important to look at the working pressure and tank capacity.

Depending on the simple jobs like blowing tyres, you will have enough with a small compressor with a capacity of up to 50 litres that produces a maximum of 8 bar. If you have heavier jobs such as spraying paint, or using an impact spanner to loosen bolts then you should look behind a compressor with a larger tank capacity and with a production of at least 8 bar.
