V-COIL THREAD REPAIR KIT M10X1.5

With this thread repair kit it is possible to repair damaged threads thanks to the thread tap, drill and accompanying v-coils.

Contents:

- 1 x Spiral drill bit

- 1 x Thread trimmer

- 1 x Hand insertion tool

- 1 x Trunnion breaker

- 20 x V-coils or wire inserts

- 1 x Allen key

- Supplied in storage box



Instructions for use:

1. Drill out damaged threads with the spiral drill.

2. Check that the threaded stud and threaded bolt have the same thread.

3. Cut into the drilled hole with the threaded stud to insert the V-coil (threaded insert).

4. Place the V-coil on the tool and adjust the insertion depth (with socket).

5. Screw the insert into the drilled hole.

6. Remove the take-away pin with the trunnion breaker.

7. The new thread is formed.



Tip: Use cutting oil when drilling and cutting.
