Using this thread repair kit, you are able to repair worn and damaged threads in metal. Repairing damaged threads becomes an easy job using this thread repair kit. This kit includes a drill bit that allows you to enlarge the hole with the defective thread. Thanks to the special thread tap, you can then provide new thread in the hole to then install the Helicoils (thread inserts). In short, using this thread repair kit you can very easily repair the damaged threads professionally and permanently.

Contents:
- 1 x Spiral drill bit
- 1 x Thread tap
- 1 x Hand mounting tool
- 1 x Trunnion breaker
- 20 x V-coils or threaded inserts
- 1 x Allen
- Supplied in storage box
Instructions for use:
1. Drill out damaged threads with the spiral drill bit.
2. Check that the thread tap and threaded bolt have the same thread.
3. With the thread tap, cut into the drilled hole to insert the V-coil (thread insert).
4. Place the V-coil on the tool and adjust the installation depth (with Allen).
5. Screw the insert into the drilled hole.
6. Remove the take-home pin with the trunnion breaker.
7. The new thread is formed.
Tip: Use cutting oil when drilling and cutting.
