This spark plug tester from Gunson is specially designed for motorcycle engines to check compression and combustion with a 10mm spark plug. Using this kit, you can control the compression ratio of the engine, ensuring better combustion of the mixture. The Gunson Colortune spark plug is easy to use and has a glass insulating viewing window so that the combustion flame is visible. Because the spark plug has a glass viewing window, you can see what is happening in the combustion chamber of the gasoline engine. This allows you to adjust the combustion and air fuel mixture according to the color of the Gunson Colortune. The Colortune has 3 colors; yellow, white and blue. A blue flame results in perfect combustion.



The kit also includes a viewer with adjustable mirror so that the flame can be seen when access to the engine is limited. The color of the flame in the cylinder indicates the air/fuel ratio - a yellow flame indicates a rich mixture, a blue-white flame indicates a weaker mixture, while a blue flame is usually correct. By adjusting the mixture screw to get the correct color flame, the engine can be tuned accurately.
